Mission Statement

Our mission is to systematically collect, document, and analyze the predictions made by Alex Jones, providing a comprehensive, data-driven exploration of his accuracy over time. By tracking these predictions, we aim to refute any claim that Alex Jones' predictions are reliable or useful information.

Data Collection & Research Protocol

We aim to collect an unbaised, accurate representation of the predictions that Alex Jones makes, and the out comes of those predictions.

We do not want to collect cherry-picked predictions that can be easily shown to be incorrect, and our data collection protocol is aimed at preventing such cherry-picking.

We require that contributions to the site are entered an episode at a time, documenting all falsifiable and meaningful predictions (defined below) from that episode.

Defining "Prediction"

What qualifies as a prediction will be somewhat subjective, but these are some guidelines that we require our participants to follow:

  • Falsifiability: all predictions must have the potential to be demonstrated to be incorrect sometime in the future.
  • Time Frame: all predictions must have a reasonable timeframe to rule out feasibility.
  • Relevance: predictions must be relevant to public discourse of the time. We do not want to collect meaningless predictions about non-relevant subjects.
  • Specificity: we want to collect all predictions, even if they are overly broad. Underspecific predictions will be flagged on entry so that they can be reported against or excluded from aggregates.

Data We Collect

We collect data in the form of Episode Reviews, which contain all Predictions found in their target episode.

Episode Reviews consist of:

  • Author: the anonymous user who entered the data.
  • Episode: the episode that the review targets.
  • Predictions: all predictions from the target episode.

Predictions consist of:

  • Quote: the exact quote containing the prediction.
  • Summary: the user-generated summary of what is being predicted.
  • Timestamp: the time in the episode when the prediction is made.
  • Underspecific: whether the prediction is underspecific.
  • End Date: an exact or reasonable date to expect that the prediction will be resolved as either true or false.
